
The purpose of this fund is to support and develop archivists seeking to gain further
expertise in the care and development of Catholic archival resources, collections or
services.
Applicants would be expected to be members of the Society.
What can I apply for?
The Society is able to provide funding up to £250 over two years for activities
including:
Conference / training fees.
Travel expenses incurred in undertaking CPD activities.
Funding to conduct a workplace research project.
Conservation
A contribution towards purchase of equipment
When can I apply?
Once CAS Council have approved the budget for this membership benefit, members
will be notified by email in early September which will provide further information
about the application process and the closing dates for applications.
Application process
- Complete the form.
- Submit the form to the Treasurer.
- The application will be reviewed by the Honorary Officers of the Society.
- A response will be fed back to the applicant within 10 days of the Society’s
decision. - Payment will be made once the Treasurer receives receipts.
Obligations of a successful application
The successful applicants will be expected to provide a written report of their
experiences / learning for ‘Catholic Archives’ the Journal of the Catholic Archives
Society.
