The Call for Papers is now open for the Catholic Record Society 2018 conference. Proposals are welcomed for 20 minute papers relating to Reformation and Post-Reformation Catholic History in the British Isles. The keynote lectures will be given by Professor Eamon Duffy; Dr Susan O’Brien; Dr Caroline Bowden; Professor Maurice Whitehead and Rev Dr James Pereiro. There will also be an informal discussion of works in progress, giving you the opportunity to present short statements of current research or projects, or to ask for help with a research problem. All proposals should be submitted by Friday 8 June 2018.
Please note that there are a limited number of bedrooms available at Murray Edwards College this year. If you require accommodation, you are advised to book as soon as possible. Bookings will be subject to availability. The deadline for registration is Friday 29 June 2018.
If there is anything CRS can help with, or any further enquiries, please get in touch at catholicrecordsociety@gmail. com or via our social media pages. The Conference Secretary, Dr Serenhedd James, can be contacted at serenhedd.james@theology.ox. ac.uk and the Conference Director, Dr Hannah Thomas, can be contacted at hthomas@bar-convent.org.uk. General enquiries relating to bookings should, in the first instance, be directed to the Conference Secretary.
